When Low-Tech Beats High-Tech: The Beeper Gambit
Brilliant operation from many angles:
1. The terrorists circumvented Israeli cellular phone interception software by using old beeper technology.
2. The pager receives one-way communication via radio signals, with all messages sent simultaneously in a burst.
3. The pager filters out all communications except those assigned to it from designated senders.
4. The supply chain was intercepted from the factory to beeper distribution and retail.
5. The only users and recipients were those attempting to conceal their communication from Pegasus NSO cellular phone surveillance much like modern burner phone users trying to evade direct tracking.
6. Each pager contained explosive material and a micro relay, programmed to activate when a specific “switch on” message was sent across the network by an authorized sender.
7. The failure rate ranged from 2–4% due to inherent issues with electronic hardware and software.
8. And there you have it the pocket pager birth control device.

“For the glory of the State of Israel.” Three Mossad agents who led the stunning beeper operation that decimated Hezbollah, light a torch in Jerusalem on Israels Independence Day. Traditionally, 12 individuals have been selected to light the 12 torches – a number meant to echo the biblical tribes of Israel. This year each of the 12 torches were lit by three individuals, except for the torch symbolizing the hostages. That torch was lit by two former hostages, Eli Sharabi and Emily Damari. #technology #intelligence #defence #future #information
